Dollar Tree "Crumbl" Cookies & Cream Milkshake Cookies You will need: 1 box of vanilla cake mix $1.25 2 bags of mini @oreo cookies $2.50 1 jar of vanilla frosting $1.25 1/2 cup of oil 2 eggs *or* 1/2 cup of applesauce $1.25 Total cost $6.25 for 8 large cookies To make cookies from a box of cake mix, ignore the box instructions and instead add ½ a cup of oil and 2 eggs. In the past I have also used ½ cup of unsweetened applesauce in place of the eggs with great results. Once this is well combined cover it and chill it in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours. Find the 8 best looking mini oreos from your bag set those aside and crush the rest of them. You don’t want to crush them into dust, but just enough that they are still rather decent sized chunks of cookies. When your cookie dough has chilled mix in all but about ½ cup of the oreo crumbles. Divide this into 8 large cookies roll these into balls and then flatten them slightly to form thick pucks. bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 350 for 15 minutes. When they come out of the oven I like to whack the baking sheet on a towel a couple of times to flatten the cookies then let them cool completely. Whip the jar of vanilla frosting on high speed for 3 to 5 minutes, then fold in the remainder of the oreo crumbles. Frost your cooled cookies with the oreo frosting, and because I am a perfectionist I also like to press the tops with parchment paper to smooth them out, then I stick them in the freezer to set the frosting. Remove the parchment paper and press a mini oreo in the center of each cookie.
