Scar catches a lot of their backlash off of their SDR series, that is probably the worst line of subs but a lot of their other series like the evls are a lot better quality

i’ve only blown skars and i only go 80% on my subs. i build my system out to where the max i enjoy is 80%. and yet they still blow. my sundowns still rocking everyday

Some sketchy stuff from the owner gave them a bad rep from day one. But beyond that, it's cheap so it attracts people who are just getting into bass. But they don't know what they're doing yet -

from my understanding the the og skar vvx was designed but the owner of sundown I hopes that the company would fail and be acquired by sundown like obsidian audio also they give people what they want
