🇮🇹 10 things to do in Portofino ⬇️ Italy⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🍹 Drinks with a view at Al Faro Bar⁣⁣ 💦 Take a swim at Portofino’s iconic beach, Baia Cannone. I’ve made a video with instructions on how to get there in my Italy guides.⁣⁣ 🍦 Eat the best ice cream from Gelateria Gepi ⁣⁣ 👟 Stroll along the scene “Walk of Kisses” path from Paraggi to Portofino (approx 2km/25 min walk)⁣⁣ 🏰 Hike to Castello Brown for the best views of Portofino (entrance fee is 5€)⁣⁣ 🍝 Lunch at @belmondsplendidomare Note: you don’t have to stay at the hotel to make a lunch reservation at their restaurant, and trust me the food & views are worth it!⁣⁣ 🎭 Check out the unusual sculptures at Museo del Parco. ⁣⁣ 🍳 Breakfast at the historic Caffè Excelsior.⁣⁣ ☕️ Enjoy an espresso in La Piazzetta and admire the yachts in the marina.⁣⁣ ⛪️ Marvel at the Church of San Martino.⁣⁣ 🍽️ Dinner at Ö Magazín.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You’ll only need one day in Portofino to do & see all the best bits, and trust me if you stay any longer you’ll likely send yourself broke. You can do Portofino on a budget however, swim at the beach for free, pack a supermarket lunch and you can easily spend less than 10€ with entrance to Castello Brown and a cheeky gelato to cool yourself down in the summer months.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ How to get there? From within Italy, the most affordable way to get to Portofino is to catch a train to Santa Margherita Ligure station and from here there is a 3€ bus (line 782) that’ll take you to Portofino. We did a day trip to Portofino from Cinque Terre and it’s also an easy train journey from Genoa.
