I love primates with all of my hearts they are beautiful, intelligent and remarkable animals and it confuses me on why people would do bad things to them and hurt them especially since they’re all endangered already

ive been seeing this account where they go to a zoo and show an orangutan like play-do or idk but i was wondering what the ethics of that is? like does that aggravate them or is it okay? i think the videos are cute but i also dont wanna be supporting animal abuse/unethical treatment of animals
