Here's what happened: On 7/18/2024 at 1523 hours, I, Trooper A. Cass, observed a black 4-door car (V1) speeding over the 60 mph limit on I-630 W near Mile Marker 8. V1 was weaving through lanes towards the I-430 N Exit and quickly accelerated past several vehicles. I followed and recorded V1 at 77 mph. I initiated a traffic stop at Exit 8B to I-430 N, and V1 pulled over on the east shoulder of I-430 N at Mile Marker 7. I approached the vehicle and informed the driver of the reason for the stop. The driver, S1, explained she was rushing to take her child to the doctor and did not have her driver's license, registration, or insurance. She gave the name Becca Smith. As I returned to my unit to verify her information, V1 sped away. I alerted dispatch and pursued V1. The vehicle exited at Rodney Parham, headed east, turned north on Breckenridge Rd. against a red light, and continued onto Pleasant Valley Rd., reaching 80-90 mph and running several stop signs. V1 then entered I-430 S, accelerating over 100 mph. I performed a successful TVI, causing V1 to hit a guardrail and roll into the median. S1 was ejected from the vehicle. Medical aid was provided until M.E.M.S. arrived and transported S1 to U.A.M.S. S1 was later identified as Divionna Bullock. Following medical treatment, a warrant will be issued for her arrest. Charges include: Driving on a suspended license Obstruction Felony fleeing Reckless driving Speeding (over 15 MPH above limit) No insurance #cops #policeofficer #carchase #speeding
