It hurts like a B BUT the recovery is so much easier and the pushing is fast. Once u think your dying your almost done lol

The EUPHORIA after they come out is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with no meds. Like, I DID THAT!

I did it natural 3 times. trust me there is no award you get for going through THAT PAIN. I thought I was being torn in half. literally dying. I got one for the 4th kid and I'm getting one in 2 weeks.

1 with 1 without. The recovery / mental space without was a million times better. Anxiety was way down without the epidural bc I wasn’t overthinking the meds in my body!

I’ve done both and my experience without was actually better. I swear you will never experience a high like after birth without one. I felt so badass and more connected to my baby honestly

I’ve done it both ways and let’s just say it wasn’t by choice! Get the epidural! ☺️

First three without an epidural due to anxiety of needles, 4th with an epidural. I will 100% be getting an epidural with my 5th next week. 😅 They can help you get into better pushing positions.

I got the epidural and I have permanent back pain and nerve damage, the entirety of my lower back is still completely numb 🙃 Do NOT do it… it’s my biggest regret in life. The catheter is also painful

i wish i could, but 😫 epidural was heaven sent when i had it with my first. you are able to be mobile way sooner after birth without an epidural!

When you get an epidural you can’t feel the progress of pushing. So you can tear easier. When unmedicated. You can take your time and feel the head and be cautious of the pain and readjust

I did it 3x no epi. For me personally I loved being in control of my body and what I felt and needed to do! I loved being able to walk around immediately afterwords and not having to wait to get baby

It’s so much better without. I’ve done it both ways and being able to feel my body’s natural urge to push was a game changer for me. I’ll never get another epidural.

Ok so my fear was that the pain would get worse by the time i got to 10cm. Nope it doesnt, its the same pain from 5cm so may aswell get on with it. Just feel more pressure once baby is on the way out

My advice is be open to anything. Things change in 2 seconds & you’ll know in the moment what’s best for you. 🥰 No expectations is always best!

I had an epi with my oldest and then 4 without an epi and plan on no epi with this baby. I just liked the freedom I had. Moving around. No catheter, I got up immediately after each baby, no back pain.

I have done both, and healing time was 100000000x easier no epidural. I felt great immediately. But I also screamed during the birth like crazy. ...

No epidural with all three. I obviously don’t have anything to compare it to but I did highly enjoy being able to move all the way up to literal seconds from crowning & personally couldn’t even 1/
