He could’ve just not had the proper knowledge before hand so when you brought it up it felt like an attack on his money management. He had zero issue letting your parents look at his tax statements.

Leave him, he will never change. My ex “fiance” just tried wiping me clean in court. I won, because I had to take out MY 401k for his debt. I was with him 7 years. So I know the long lasting partner.
