I know it’s not exactly the same, but I’m the same way with my boys at home. They start getting antsy or crabby, outside we go. Their attitudes change almost immediately. Honestly same for me too lol.

My son on an IEP was held back on most of his recess time. For behavior and to catch up on work. I wasn’t having it. He did better after going to recess to get it out.

I wish more teachers did this. My son had his lunch taken away and hated it, he did struggle with behavior and behaved after. I've asked new teachers to do this but they never do.
