@vetpaw: It’s World Ranger Day VETPAW Stands With The World’s Park Rangers Who Bravely Protect Wildlife On The Frontlines Of Conservation Ranger’s work tirelessly patrolling protected areas, monitoring wildlife, preventing poaching, engage with local communities & much more to ensure the survival of wildlife & our natural areas. Working in mostly remote locations, rangers spend long stretches of time in the field putting their lives on the line. Ranger teams often lack support & struggle to obtain the necessary equipment & training required. VETPAW’s mission is to help fill that role to train, teach & support local conservation organizations & rangers to combat poaching. As a supporting role, the team teaches military skills they’ve learned during their service with local wildlife rangers & police that can be used in poaching investigations. It is thanks to your donations & support that VETPAW is able to continue working with rangers in the fight against illegal poaching & help defend African wildlife.
