@witcheryfashion recently went through a rebrand bringing everything back to basics and apparently dropping the size 20 but reworking their patterns so the 18 is meant to be generous. To be completely transparent, I’m not across the ins and outs of it all. It is a store that I pop my head in every every now and again and I have definitely purchased a few things over the last 2 years since they extended. Thinking that maybe the 20 jeans are old stock? 🤷‍♀️ I grew up wearing Witchery. I remember when when I was a teen in 2001 putting my first fancy jumper on layby. Because so many of you ask me questions about this brand I went into the store which had limited stock and sizes. The staff were beyond helpful. The nicest people ever but they did express that they wish the sizing was bigger to accommodate more customers. They feel bad for turning people away. Especially because as we get older many of us get rounder and alot of their long term customer base like me have outgrown this brand. Not bothered if they don’t want me as a customer and nor am I here to be negative about it all. We are living in uncertain times and it’s overwhelming to witness so much devastation around us. If you’re feeling lost or heavy, know this – you’re not alone. There’s strength in shared humanity. It’s okay to just stop and take a moment. I don’t even know if I should keep posting, I know distractions help. But then when there’s so much suffering and hurt it feels insensitive.
