My parents forced me to spend years playing video games, that my brother picked out, with my brother after school. It was exceptionally infuriating and made me hate him and multiple specific video games. It’s been years since and I still look back at that time with pure hatred. Doesn’t help that my brother was verbally abusive and just a plain terrible person. I ‘had to’ play with him because my mom didn’t understand video games and didn’t feel like doing it; he was also the special youngest boy and could do no wrong in her eyes (even though he’d often go out of his way to be mean to her specifically to make her cry)
