This is unfortunately a big problem with all of the Hoyo games. It makes you question why. Is it director’s preference? Does it inadvertently increase sales?

hoyo worldbuilding and stuff has always been insanely hard to keep up with they dump a bunch of new words and concepts onto you out of nowhere i have no idea what theyre talking about half the time

the story VN segments don't bother me. I just hate the TV grid parts. feels so disconnected from the rest of the game.

I gauruntee you that the money they would save by cutting dialogue would be enough for them to put in more animated cutscenes. Let alone the fact that they have to meet their deadlines

i feel like the problem is the combat is the most fun you’ll get out of zzz. but 99% of the time it’s an extremely slow and boring story. i cared at first until i didn’t because it went on for to long

for me the worst part was that most of the actual gameplay isnt running around and fighting but jumping from tv to tv every single time. i dropped it bc i got bored of this

the biggest problem (for me) is that in the middle of "main story" we have non-dubbed, off topic chit chat and side quests that COUNTS INTO MAIN STORY LIKE WHAT
