USB C solved the universality of cables but that didn’t change the fact that not all applications need a Ferrari as it’s cable. They should label them like Ethernet cables

USB comes in different speeds. the slow ones are just USB. Then 2.0 then 3.0. 3.0 is the fastest one at the moment.

Buying USB-C cables is so much fun when you need 3.2 gen 2 but get USB 2.0 or 3.0 🙂 Would be fun if manufacturers labeled the supported speeds 🫠

Thunderbolt 4 (TB4) does not equal USB 4.0. the USB C world is awesome (1 cord end to rule them all)! BUT yes we just need better standardization and labeling of cords.

My beef is that so many devices don’t give clear specs on their requirements - they’ll say they use 9v-3a and won’t say if they are PD or QC compatible and so even if your charger supports the v/a it
