This can also be misleading- you don’t want to sing with so much breath that you lose resonance or lost breath so quickly

As a vocal coach myself, I tell singers not to sing from their throat, as their singing is breathy. They’re not using their diaphragm for support and they’re singing directly from their throat

When you made the Sound it's not supposed to Sound like I Wondered if that is a non damaging way to sing with distortion because it sounded a bit like that
