@tomdraperacting: What’s the best way to get rid of line readings? It’s the worst when we get stuck in one way of saying a line! Sometimes that’s how we have memorized it. It almost as if a groove has been formed in our brain neurons and it’s impossible to say it any-another way. Well, one way of tool to help is rehearsal exercise #4: Accents. It’s simple… just do the lines in different accents. And they don’t have to be good accents. You can also sing the lines, you can do them like famous cartoon or movie characters, for example like Tony Montana from Scarface. The idea is to break up your patterns by finding different ways and means to say the lines. @emma
