@kasha_home: Did you know that companies are not required to list chemicals used in their fragrance compounds? It’s protected as a “trade secret.” The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) lists 3,059 chemicals that are reported as being used in synthetic fragrance compounds. These fragrance chemicals include Phthalates and Parabens (endocrine disruptors), and Formaldehyde and Benzophenone (carcinogens), and BHT and Butoxyethanol (skin and respiratory irritants). So I like to avoid synthetic fragrance at home by making some of my own products, like hand soap. ✨Hydrating Hand Soap recipe ✨ 1/2 cup castile soap 1/4 cup raw honey 1 1/4 cup filtered water 10 drop essential oil (optional) Combine well and store in a soap dispenser bottle.
