🚨BBQ CHICKEN WONTON WRAPS!🚨 I can’t honestly say this will be your families all-time favorite, but much like my family, it will likely be a recipe they will never be upset about having for dinner. INGREDIENTS: One package egg roll wrappers 2 pounds chicken breasts or thighs 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp paprika 1 tbsp olive oil BBQ SAUCE: 1/3 cup ketchup 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup orange juice 5 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp brown sugar 1/2 tsp ground ginger SLAW: *can use cauliflower or broccoli 4-5 cups finely diced broccoli 1 cup matchstick carrots 1 cup sliced cabbage 1/2 cup sliced red onion 2/3 cup mayo 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp mustard 1 tbsp maple syrup 1/2 tsp salt & pepper DIRECTIONS: 1.) Slice & dice all your vegetables for your slaw. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It’ll taste amazing either way. Just make sure it’s cut up small. 2.) Mix your slaw sauce (mayo, apple cider vinegar, mustard, maple syrup, salt and pepper). Add in your vegetables and mix together. Put in fridge until needed. 3.) Drizzle chicken breasts with olive oil. Coat with seasonings. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add chicken breasts in and cook 5-7 minutes each side. 4.) Remove from heat. Let cool, then dice shred chicken. 5.) Lay your egg roll wrappers out. Add in 1 tbsp of the chicken and slaw each. Roll closed like a burrito. Wet your fingers, folding in the edges, and seal it shut 6.) Place the finished tacos onto a large baking sheet. Fill baking sheet (may need another smaller sheet as well) spray with cooking spray, and place into oven 400° for 15 minutes. 7.) Meanwhile, make the BBQ sauce. In a sauce pan over medium heat combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir until sauce thickens, then remove from heat. Use as a dipping sauce and enjoy! *You’ll have some slaw leftover, which is perfect…it is so delicious.
