$If this training aid doesn’t help you to swing silky smooth then I don’t know what will 🫣 . I have been seeing this about for a while and have been looking for one for some time but they are very difficult to find . Then it so happens that one day my work colleague @brianhillfineart brought one in for me to try (thanks Brian 🙌) . The purpose of it is pretty self explanatory as you can only make a proper swing with it without the club snapping in half if your swing is smooth throughout and no sudden changes of speed or tempo . It is quite difficult to generate much speed with it but having only hit it for 10 minutes I could still feel my self swinging quicker and quicker with it but more importantly noticed a much better contact when I went back to my actual clubs . For me I take the club back a bit too quick sometimes and watching a lot of tour pros you often see them with much slower backswings (Colin Morikawa and Max Homa come to mind) . So making sure I don’t take it back to quick is an absolute win for me which is also why the ‘brushing back a ball’ drill works wonders for my swing as well .
