Here’s how I’ve been cooking and peeling hard-boiled eggs ever since! ✅ Steam instead of boil. ✅ Puncturing a small hole in the fat end of the egg allows hot air to escape and separates the membrane as well. ✅ Putting the steamed eggs in an ice bath immediately after cooking helps release the membrane from the albumen. ✅ Lastly, for a beautifully freshly-peeled egg with little effort, simply shake the egg in a glass jar with some water.
