I don’t know if it’s possible, but this English Muffin Bread is even easier than my Best Ever Sandwich Loaf!! With holes and crevasses aplenty, this bread is sure to catch all your spreads and jams. English Muffin Bread 1/4 cup warm water 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp active dry yeast 4 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking soda 2 1/4 cups warm milk Combine water, honey and yeast. Set aside and let bloom, 10 minutes. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Combine 1/2 the flour mixture with the bloomed yeast and milk. Once smooth, add in remaining flour mixture. Mix until no flour streaks remain. Grease two standard loaf pans. Completely coat the inside of the pans with cornmeal. Divide your dough into the pans, remember, it should be gloopy!! Sprinkle with additional cornmeal Cover and place in a warm place to rise, 1 hour, be careful, they are quick risers, they can go overboard! Bake at 425° for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Slice and enjoy. I like mine best toasted with butter and cream cheese!! 💜💜 We can do hard things!!
