Depends on the level of artifacting you’re willing to accept by time stretching it. Sometimes you want your song at the actual bpm, so you can ensure 0 artifacting

The problem here is ur assuming the whole sample stays the same bpm, which is not the case with most live samples. The main issue with difficult samples is constant bpm changes throughout.
