@yorkshire.fossils: Here is a naturally spherical stone that we found! It was in a loose shale slab after falling from the cliff onto the beach... Once extracted we opened it up with our hammer… Inside the nodule, some stunning eleganticeras ammonites along with some small bivalve shell fossils from the Jurassic 🐊🔨 These ammonites are around 185 Million Years Old and looked a little like modern day squid!
