The waiting list is at least up to 5 years for an adhd assessment in the uk. I’ve been waiting for a year or 2 so far but tbh I’ve had a look at a private company and it’s only £450 so not too bad.

Go through right to choose (NHS) via your gp surgery! I did and it was a much quicker wait and then got my medication 4 days after my assessment! I went through ADHD 350

Been on the waiting list for an autism screening for almost a year. My mum's been waiting since 2019 (it is highly suspected I have it, due to genetics, as all my siblings are diagnosed AuDHD).

I've been waiting 2 years for both adhd and asd assessments,I finally get the assessments this year and then next year too, the forms are horrendous but once u get past that step it's usually easier-

the process is actually so frustrating! i’m on the wait list in essex but when i go to uni in september ill be put at the bottom of a new wait list 😭🤣 so backwards

Do the Right to choose pathway! It’s private but paid by NHS 🙂 waiting list is 3-6 months if that

Top tip email the forms to yourself and then access your emails on the laptop so you can do the forms!
