They're all made with AI. However, while the videos are fake, I think they say something interesting about how we view technology. The truth is, that our world is becoming more automated by the day, and we actually already have robotic systems to wash dishes, harvest grains, and move boxes. But what's interesting is that the robots in these viral videos look uniquely human. And I think that's what makes them so compelling and terrifying to people at the same time. It's not just that robots will eventually replace these tasks that were previously done manually, it's that they'll do it in a uniquely human way. A robotic, driverless tractor that harvests wheat in a field probably doesn't feel that threatening to most people, but watching a humanoid robot harvest wheat with its arms?
