Ingredients: * 1 lb Ground Beef - I Used 85/15 * 1 Cup White Onion - Diced * 4 Cloves Garlic - Minced * 1 1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder * 2 tsp Kosher Salt * 1/2 tsp Pepper * 1 tsp Cumin * 1 tsp Paprika * 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika * 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder * 1/2 tsp Onion Powder * 1/4 tsp Sugar * Pinch of Cayenne Pepper * 15 oz Tomato Puree * 1 1/2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard * White Onion/Mustard Toppings * Hot Dogs/Buns Directions: 1. In a Dutch oven brown the ground beef, onion & garlic over medium heat. Once browned, I do not drain the grease. Coney chili should have a little fat in it. 2. Add in the spices, tomato purée, mustard and stir to combine. Cover & cook for 30 minutes on low heat - stirring occasionally. 3. Prepare your hot dogs. For coney dogs I like to add about 1/2 an inch of water to a pan & steam them. Once the water has evaporated cook a few minutes longer to get some color on them. 4.
