on the cup issue: there's also the cognitive development that is learning the difference between a want and a need. Toddlers haven't learned that. So when you tell them no, they genuinely think (1)

Not only that but to a baby they don’t know why their tummy hurts or when it’ll stop, for all they know they’re just gonna be in pain forever now :(

If you want advice, putting a cool damp cloth on her tummy might help. It’s a trick I still use on my adult self to help with esp nausea. Appalachian medicine for you 😁

When mine was a bit older I found bicycling their legs really helped tummy aches. It's so awful to listen to them cry it always ended in us both crying
