Okinawa seems like its own country cause it *should* be its own country. The Ryukyuan erasure has too many parallels to native Hawaiian erasure in the US

I mean Okinawa did used to be it’s own country so it makes sense it’s super different, just like Hawaii being very different to the US. I loooove Okinawa 💜
