For me its not that all bad if they look up syptoms online. that just means they are curious and they go to the doctor for confirmation. its the docs job now to clarify and do thorough checkup

I used to get really bad headaches to the point that I couldn’t eat and I’d cry. Doc in ED told me it was stress. I told him your wrong and that I was having a brain aneurysm. The look he gave😭😭

I once had an infected surgical wound and my surgeon suggested to put some ice on it. It remained undiagnosed for more than 5 (!) days, lost my ankle joint. Maybe it's better to google it as well.
