On the giant screen you can watch opera performances, musicals, classical concerts or pop concerts.  🍕 SUMMERSTAGE A place I love for summer evenings is the terrace along the water with different restaurants (Pizza, Tacos, French bistro, Caribbean and more). If you’re more into sports you can try Beach Volleyball, Trampoline, or Boule here. 🍷 NEUSTIFTER KIRTAG A traditional Austrian folk festival that takes place from August 22nd to August 25th. Put on your dirndl or lederhose and head to Neustift am Walde, a wine-growing area, for a street lined with Heurigen and a fun evening with music, wine and Austrian food. 🍹 CAMPUS SALETTL This location at the university campus offers lounge atmosphere, cool drinks and dishes. Nice for a laid-back summer evening. 🍦 TASTE ICE CREAM What better way to cool off with some of Vienna’s best ice cream? My favorite ice cream spots are Veganista, Leones, Gelateria Romana, Tuchlauben and Gefrorenes. 🌊 ALTE DONAU Head to Alte Donau for a fun-filled day by the water. Swimming, sunbathing, or taking a walk along the Old Danube – it's the perfect escape from the city heat. My favorite places are the wooden platforms along the promenade An der unteren Alten Donau. 🖼️ MUSEUMSQUARTIER With cool exhibitions, live performances, and outdoor events, there's always something exciting happening here. Plus, the courtyard is a great place to relax. 🚤 DAYTRIP TO LUNZER SEE Need an idea for a day trip from Vienna? I recommend Lunzer See, a gorgeous mountain lake in Lower Austria where you can swim, boat, or hike. It’s the perfect day trip to enjoy nature and relax away from the city hustle.
