a scarf is actually how i do mine and they last DAYS when u do them super tight and i would do half my hair in the front and half in the back with another scarf. when i tell u they stayed curled for -

Closer to the front and if you use 2 scarves (lay one on top of the other then fold and roll) the curls will be a little more loose since there is more material for it to wrap around.
