My only advice is to mix the old bay, Mayo and lemon together first before adding to the shells. I just find that sometimes if you add on top of shells they tend to hold chunks of seasoning.

We call it mermaid salad! We do shells, imitation crab, celery, mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, old bay, celery salt, Mrs dash table blend, pepper and garlic powder. It’s amazing!
