In AL, if pt is declared brain dead by 2 physicians, nothing else can be done, DNR or not. It sad and the fast grieving process is brutal for families.

The likey hood of a collage grad having a DNR is legally slim, DNR's aren't given to everyone but when they're given the person receives a DNR silver bracelet also they need to renew the DNR yearly.

My mother told me when I got my permit don’t put that on my license cause if something happened even if something minor they want do work for you they do the minimum so they can get your organs
