I suggest that you drench ur hair with water, brush it w a denman brush and then apply the product

i feel the same way! if my hair is too wet, it’s like the products just slide right off! i always style on damp/dryish hair.

Whatever you want it to be :
Foam gives more volume than definition. Gel more definition less volume. Different products give different results for sure
