It’s just the sound of your rockers being dry before they get oil. Completely normal for a lot of old trucks. Mine dose the same.

Our 6.6 has the same problem it loses prime and it gets air in the injectors. The knock when it starts is injector knock and it’s just clearing air, check the whole fuel system and replace what’s need

I suggest when starting up an old junkyard car, use like a 50:1 2 stroke mix, it’ll help free the piston rings, help unstick valves etc.
