Well in Germany the rules for keeping animals are way too many and expensive to follow… my mother always wanted chickens etc too but had to answer: “be aware the government can come and kill them all“

my mom got the animals before I asked. she came home and told me we were getting a mini horse, I never even asked for a pony. wonderful childhood.

the only one my mom said no to was chickens. she hates chickens she was attacked by the rooster daily and had to help take care of 200 meat chickens as a kid. so we got water chickens instead

Me🥺, was never allow to have a pet as a child n my hubby n kids love animals too now we have 18 🐓,2🐢,1🐟,3🐩🐕🐕 , 1🐦⬛😂🤣 will see what else we get in the future
