all parents should set aside one day off to go volunteer in the classroom. I guarantee it would open their eyes to some of this stuff that seems obvious to the rest of us

And if these parents were involved in the classes and volunteered they would understand how much they need/use. So. Much. Entitlement.

My son is starting prek and his list totaled like only $40 (he already has a backpack and I didn't count toiletries), so I bought double of everything. Yall had me thinking I'd be putting down $300

Your videos spurred me to buy a ton of school supplies to drop off at our local elementary. My kids are all adults and I homeschooled them. But I loved buying school supplies. ❤️

And school supplies are so much cheaper right now. You can get a pack of markers for a dollar. It’s going to be five dolllars after October.

As a high school teacher, this is infuriating. We can’t ask for communal supplies because they have 8 different teachers. So these parents who don’t send enough supplies in elementary never 1/2

My annoyance of the ‘school lists’ is everyone buys a little. Like let me buy AALLL the tissues and I will just get costco cases of tissues. Someone else can get a case of pencils
