On Monday evening, Deputy Jonathan Pazmino Alvarez was flagged down by a frantic father whose truck had just been stolen with his two young children still inside. Acting swiftly, Deputy Pazmino Alvarez pursued the stolen 2011 white Chevrolet Silverado and performed a traffic stop within minutes. Bodycam footage shows one of the children exclaiming, "That’s not my dad!" as Deputy Pazmino Alvarez ordered the driver to stop. The suspect, Kevin Smith, with a criminal history dating back to 2003, was arrested on the spot. Thankfully, the two children, aged 4 and 8, were unharmed and safely reunited with their father.
