The prickly pears u have to pick them with gloves or a tin can then wash all the needles off with a hose & a bucket in the garden then u peel them with a knife & a fork just in case any needles r left

The fruits on the cactus is used for tequila the locals in Rhodes told me . i picked one & for hours that day my family had to pick the prickles out my fingers with tweezers 😂
