At my company in the US they instated a « unlimited vacation » policy as long as work is done. The result is people take less vacations because of social pressure vs when they said youhad to take days

Moved to Cannes recently from Chicago. Great lifestyle here food is so healthy ND much cheaper people have wonderful cafe lifestyle here. Your posts are great!

Only way maybe is to be FIRE in the US. That’s the only way I can’t see the US making the switch back to or staying with how a lot of some Europeans. I’m ready to go gotta convince 🇮🇪hubs to go back

Unfortunately, it’s way more then that … it’s the non walkable downtowns, no cafes/terraces and stores close enough so you can walk from one to another, no social interactions & community feeling …
