@remy_leonard: Why don't I buy an FX6 if I'm going to rig up my FX30 this much anyway? The main reason is the price, the FX30 is about 1/3 the price of the FX6, and even with the extra features of the FX6 or similar cameras, you'd still most likely need almost as many accessories to use it in the same way as a rig like this. As much as I would still prefer a camera like the FX6, there are some benefits to rigging up smaller cameras, the main one being you have the option to rig it up or down to whatever degree is necessary for the shot.
