While there more nutrients in the smoothie, you could eat a couple of pieces of fruit to achieve a similar nutrient acquisition for significantly less sugar. There is more saturated fat in 400g sirloin steak (40g) than 25 boxes of McDonald’s medium fries (38g). The steak contains additional nutrients, but eating too much saturated fat over time could lead to cardiovascular problems. While these facts may be interesting and slightly helpful, it doesn’t mean individual foods are good or bad. This is because the quality of your diet depends on your overall eating choices over long periods of time. Balance is everything lol. I’m a bit weird. I crave typically “healthy” foods in the summer months but in the winter months I tend to just crave baked goods and carbs lol.

Yes, this is why I try to explain to my partner that the types of foods being eaten matter. Not the 'calories.' Fiber slows down the absorption of calories and breakdown of carbs.
