@dr.shannonritchey: My first ever “what I eat in a day” 🤸♀️ I’ve historically not done these because 1. I’m not formally trained in nutrition 2. Nutrition is so personal, so I always encourage people to figure out their needs and preferences 3. I’m not a good cook 🫣 4. I’m the least picky person ever (hi, sardine salad!), so I don’t mind eating the same things over and over But - I’ve gotten lots of requests for it, and I thought it might inspire those of you who are like me and want meals/snacks that are easy and no fuss. 💓 I’m breastfeeding, so being consistent with my nutrition has been a struggle. I’m currently in a “do what you can” phase. My goals are to eat at maintenance calories + 120 grams of protein. Check out my recent podcast with @mindinmymacros for more info on nutrition for breastfeeding. 🥗We also have a body recomposition guide in the @evlofitness membership to help you calculate your calorie and protein needs. Here was food for yesterday: Breakfast: Cottage cheese protein bowl Cottage cheese, @just.ingredients protein powder, dates, apple Lunch: Sardine salad Apple, celery, sardines, greek yogurt, artichokes, pecans Snack: Dates + peanut butter Snack: @paleovalley beef stick Dinner: Chicken salad (this turned out so good) Greens, brocholi, dates, goat cheese, bacon, candied cashews, avocado, greek dressing (idk the name, it was whatever was in our fridge) Dessert: @eatenlightened ice cream bar Total protein: 144 grams!!!! Wohoo! Do y’all want more of these? Let me know! 👇🏽 #whatieatinaday #highprotein #highproteinbreakfast #highproteinsnack #breastfeedingworkingmom
