there’s no way you can comfortably carry the 10 essentials with you in a running vest so for safety i’m always choosing my day pack

I’m not sure why more backpacks didn’t have the running vest style straps and elastic pouches on the side. The front half of a running vest and a 30 liter bag would go so hard

I loved using my running vest for 6hr hikes. However, my partner carried the big stuff in his backpack. I only carried snacks and the first aid kit and water. So not the best for solo long hikes
