Yah the problem is if you modify it in anyway and get in a car accident it won’t be covered. So I mean as long as you don’t care about paying out of pocket for a new one. Which I guess isn’t a problem

Also, did you know most carseats have strap holders on the sides, too! I have 4 kids, ages 3-11 and only found out 2 years ago, at 32 🤦🏼♀️🤣

While i think this is a good idea w/ minimal effect to the safety i have a feeling the velco should not go on the red release mechanism for fear that it would untested wear to it/cause failure
