'Inner monologue' has never really fit the way I would explain how I think. 'Inner conversation' I guess would be a more fitting term? It's me and myself talking in my head, having a conversation.

Im a reader i can do both. I narrate in my head all the time but when i read its like im there with the characters i see it like a movie in my brain and its jarring to come back to reality

I think in both. My mind is like a giant solar system with charts and graphs and everything is in 3D. It’s overwhelming at times.

Pictures 😅 my mom used to get so annoyed when she helped me study and i just said "the page looks like this and the answer was on the bottom right corner but i can't recall it" 🙈

I have inner monologue but also in pictures. Like visuals so when someone says or explains something I definitely imagine it and it can be disturbing sometimes

my "inner monologue" is literally the same as if i was talking out loud, theres no racing thoughts, actually, theres hardly any at any given time 💀

Um, I think in both. I've got pictures and narration going simultaneously. As for intrusive thoughts, I don't just visualize them, I feel them, not at full force, but enough to be unsettling.

I have aphantasia (level 5) .. So I don't see any pictures. But I also have adhd so I don't have one inner monologue.. I have about 20 all going at once. - It's crowded in here..
