“How did you become okay with letting go of that version of you?” “How did you allow yourself to grow and ignore the scale?” Using 15 lbs ——>>> 30 lbs These are questions I get daily from girlies out there ✨ and let me tell you. It wasn’t something that happened overnight. It took me almost 2 years to be able to let go and trust the process of growing. Please know.. you’re not alone. But if you’re feeling like you’re at a stand still, your body is not changing, and you feel lost. Maybe this is something you need to consider. Here are tips and things I did to help the growing process become easier for ME 🧚🩵 ✨ track my progress in the gym. Instead of always focusing on the physical side of things. It became so fun to see my Lift become better and better every week because of the more food I was eating. Once I actually started tracking the weights I was using I started noticing I was getting stronger and it was such a cool feeling!! ✨ stop focusing on the scale and start getting body composition assessments. Like an in body scan or a DEXA! Start focusing on what’s going on internally rather than a physical appearance at all times! This scale could possibly go up during this journey… But what’s going on inside? What is your skeletal mass? your body fat percentage?? start focusing on things like that 🩵 ✨ follow People who inspire you to grow, and who align with the goals that you have set! It can be extremely hard to sit and compare yourself to people around you, or on social media! When I started searching for girls who lifted heavyweight, who weren’t afraid to grow, and we weren’t afraid to talk about it.. I felt inspired! I felt like I could finally let go, and I had some thing to look up to 🤝🏼 ✨ don’t be afraid to eat more food 🍊🫐🍑🥂 A lot of people look at adding more food into their diet and immediately think they’re going to put on weight… This is absolutely not the case! Eating in a caloric deficit for long period of time can cause weight gain, inflammation, and really hurts our gym and strength goals! Slowly, adding in overtime as what’s going to be your best friend. As what we like to call reverse dieting! Reverse dieting is a tool that we can use to slowly adding calories, overtime… Healing or metabolism as were able to handle more food and sustain our goals! Food is something we should look at to help us. Not something we should look at, and be terrified! ✨ as we always say… Food is fuel!!! There are so many other tips that have helped me along the way… Like writing down my thoughts and feelings, taking pictures!!! Focusing on internal goals, instead of external goals! Different things like that overtime have helped me in my growing journey. Like I said, it has been over a five-year journey for me. Three of the years where I constantly was trying to shrink. Don’t be frustrated with yourself. If you feel like you were in the same boat! It took me a long time to finally be OK with letting go and under understand how long it actually takes to build muscle! If you are strength, training, daily, supplementing, taking creatine, and eating a shit ton of food… It’s still going to take you a lot of time to put on muscle! So don’t be afraid. Keep showing up for yourself, keep picking up those heavy, freaking weights, and keep allowing yourself to do hard things. ✨ #Fitness #Tr#Fitnesst#Transformationf#BeforeAndAftery#GymTipsB#GymTipsForBeginnersr#Growthv#GirlsWhoLive #FitnessMotivation #Trending
