Replying to @Rian_A_12 Episode 45: Syria Yabrak 🇸🇾 ❤️🤍🖤  “Famous Dishes around the world” #syria #يبرق #dolma #ورق_عنب #syrianfood #محشي #fyp #سوريا #FoodTok #Foodie #foodvideography Ingredients: - 1 jar of grape leaves rinsed and boiled - 1 kg of lamb ribs - 2 cup short-grain rice, rinsed - 1/2 kg ground beef or lamb - 2 tbsp olive oil - 1 tbsp syrian 7 spices - Juice of 2 lemons - 1 head of garlic - Salt and pepper to taste - Water Instructions: 1. In a large bowl, combine the rinsed rice, ground meat, 7 spice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. 2. Lay a grape leaf flat on a clean surface, vein side up, and place about a tablespoon of the rice mixture in the center of the leaf. 3. Fold the bottom of the leaf over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll it up tightly. 4. Repeat the process with the remaining grape leaves and filling. 5. Line the bottom of a large pot with the lamb ribs. 6. Arrange the stuffed grape leaves in the pot in tight layers, seam side down, packing them closely together to prevent them from unraveling during cooking. 7. Pour the lemon juice and enough water over them to cover. 8. Place a heatproof plate or a heavy lid on top of the grape leaves to keep them submerged in the water during cooking. 9. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the rice is cooked and the grape leaves are tender. 10. Once cooked, empty the sauce in a container, and flip the pot onto the serving dish to achieve a cake like dish. 11. Serve with the reserved sauce and some yogurt of the side. Enjoy! ❤️🤍🖤
