It will take courage, self-awareness, and insurmountable humility to accept that one’s arrogance and constant fear of not being good enough, has turned him into someone he least want to be. All in effort to be the best version of himself and not be seen as a failure/loser to his loved ones. “I’m not ready. No one ever is; we don’t get to choose our time.” A loved lost. We grieve, we turn into anger, we ask to bargain, we overthink with regret, we silently forgive and we eventually let go. Losing someone will make you second doubt all the things you’ve done and the decisions you’ve made; holding to “what if I’ve done this” when you’re already facing the path to “what there is waiting for me”. Remember that you took the choice you think is best for that situation at that time. “Death is what gives Life Meaning.” And as we move forward to life, one should practice grace and gratefulness as we always get the chance to be better. Knowing that our days are numbered, we should never forget to be kind not only to others but also to ourselves. As the sun rises, shines, and sets you too deserve to start again in life, no matter how self-absorbed and narcissistic you once were.
