 But obviously, it was doctor-monitored and the guy had enough body fat to live off of it for over a year.
 
 Now, I’ve been talking about fasting a lot, but I want to address the extended fasting because while it’s truly beneficial for most and leads to all kinds of miracles, it shouldn’t be taken lightly as many things can go wrong. 
 
 For example, water-only fast, you’re staying hydrated but you could mess up your electrolytes and you could end up in a hospital.
 
 A dry-fast, on the other hand, can lead to dehydration if not careful and … you could end up in a hospital.
 
 If you are interested in extended fasts, there is a bit of knowledge you need to acquire before starting it out. 
 
 Remember, you ALWAYS want to take a gentle approach to fasting and learn to connect with your body. 
 Start by shrinking your eating window to 8hrs, then 6hrs, 4hrs, 2hrs and so on. Give it a few weeks to adjust. Then do OMAD and see how you like it. 
 Don’t wait till you’re starving as you’ll overeat. You always want to start slow and ease your way into a longer fast. In the next few videos we’ll explore more on fasting, so make sure to follow!
