Healthy Crispy ham carbonara  470 calories of deliciousness! Ingredients: - 60g Vetta high protein spirals - 70g light smooth ricotta - 60g shredded white chicken - 40g Ham  - 43g master foods stove top carbonara packets - 40g mushrooms - 20g red onion  - 5g garlic paste or mince - Pepper - Chives (for toppings) - Parmesan (for toppings) Optional: - onion powder - Italian herbs - Garlic and herb salt - Corriander - Salt n pepper  Method: 1. Cook pasta as per packet. Keep 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining once pasta is cooked. And wash your pasta after draining🤌  2. In a pan, cook onion, mushrooms and garlic until fragrant & translucent. Use a splash of boiling water instead of oil but I also used a tiny bit of coconut oil. 3. Add in shredded chicken and stir for a few minutes to crisp it up.  4. Add ricotta and carbonara sauce. Stir. 5. Add 1/4 of ham chopped up into the sauce and cook the rest in a seperate smaller pan to crisp the rest of the ham up. (This is optional but also very tasty) (tip: I just used the saucepan i made pasta in to save dishes🙊) 6. If sauce too thick, add water or if it’s too watery continue to simmer and it will thicken up. I added some pasta water to this step as I like my sauce less thicker so it’s your preference. 7. I added my herbs & spices at this point and let it simmer into the sauce whilst my ham was crisping up.  8. Add pasta to sauce & mix in together. 9. Serve, add your crispy ham, chives and parmesan as toppings and enjoy! Recipe also stated can refrigerate for 3 days or freeze for 3 months!  I made more to keep in the fridge for meals for the fam over the next few days, hence why it looks like I’m feeding a village 😅
